Prickly Pears - Part 2
So, I'm sitting here wondering.
If someone had a dream, could you kill it by saying one statement? Oh boy, I can think of a dozen things I would/already did say to people that have/will perhaps kill someones deepest dreams.
It's not weird or unusual to have dreams. It's normal. What's a little unnerving is that, someone like me can't/don't have dreams.
Imagine waking up every morning thinking, where'd all that time go? Was I really asleep, or was I floating again?
So I'm sitting here wondering....
This past year I've found to be very interesting. No doubt, every year we learn something new and different. But I can't help feeling like I'm back to square one again.
So I'm sitting here wondering.
An Opinion is an opinion. We aren't supposed to judge. It's the way they feel.
Statement made by my Advertising teacher the other day:
Equality is another feeling we all have to be aware about. According to women, we're all equal. Well, really it isn't. A man is always better.
Want to know what Gender my advertising teacher is, or have you figured it out already?
I had a good conversation with my Mum about it, and there was a lot that came into light.
So I'm sitting here wondering...
Am I now a feminist?

Feminism is good. If we didn't have feminists, us men would never have learned to appreciate you better than our parents did.

Ever seen the last leaf on a tree in autumn?
Some people say the leaf is facing a losing battle. That the wind is too fierce and the leaf should just fall to the ground and accept the reality, give up and realise that its meant to fall. Its meant to be bombarded by the fierce wind that keeps it in a constant state of frustration.
But then I realised that the leaf is actually not fighting. Its letting the wind do this because the wind feels comforting: who knows what's on the ground. What if it falls to the ground and someone tramples it. Or it gets swept away by another wind.
And THAT'S when it falls. Its the promise of another, better wind. A wind which may not know which way it will blow tomorrow, but wherever it does blow, it will carry the leaf with it.
And so the leaf is actually learning. Even if it feels like its not moving from where it is.
