Obsessions

Taking a stroll down the street in my area in the evening would result in teasing, rape, kidnapping and probably a brutal killing.
People say that Dubai has the lowest crime rate in the world (Yeah right). I suppose the Locals are very pleased with themselves. Dubai/ UAE might have the lowest crime rate, doesn't mean there isn't any crime.
I hate traffic, I hate drivers around Iftar times, I hate rash drivers in general, and I hate construction work on roads.

I can't stand outside my house without being stared at by 3 men per minute on an average. I know of people who live in areas that are far worse. I don't usually care whether someone's staring at me or not. But when these men do it, it's like their literally undressing you in public. (ugghh..)

1. How do you be specific when you're relating an incident to a mutual friend and not be too generic so as to rise doubts.

2. How do you look at yourself? Do you think you're beautiful and if you think you are and you're not afraid of admitting it, does that make you air-brushed?

3. How do you find it in yourself to sit down with complete undistracted focus ,after a long holiday of about 6 months, and do assignments / project reports?

4. What would you do in the face of disaster. How would you handle yourself?

5. Do you think about death and the afterlife, do you believe that it exists?

6. Do you ever lie back at night, feeling content and peaceful?

7. Is it hard to be honest with your friends without hurting them too much?

8. Is it hard to believe that your friends will love you no matter what?

9. It's not unusual to be angry when someone accuses you of something, but when they keep feeding it to you do you end up being very confused and thinking 'maybe they're right'? And then, how do you not get paranoid?

10. Do you find it weird that you could miss someone so much even though it's just one lousy day that you even catch a fever?

PS: Mum's in Bahrain and even though she's goina be back tomorrow night, I still miss her very much :(
